Pierre & Véra Székély

Véra (1919-1995) and Pierre Székely (1923-2001), along with André Borderie, founded an artistic workshop in Bures-sur-Yvette in 1948 after meeting in Vienna. They collaborated on various artworks, including paintings, ceramics, and furniture. Their creations evolved from folkloric themes to abstract, surrealist designs, and they gained recognition for their work in exhibitions across Europe. From 1957, Pierre focused on sculpture and architecture, while Véra continued her diverse artistic pursuits.
