Exceptional ring vase by Robert Picault, Vallauris, circa 1950.
Glazed ceramic, wood-fired.
To date, the only known proof by the artist: probably a trial before the ring vase produced in series.
Hand-signed “Picault” under the base.
This model can be recognized in an archive photo presented on p.116 in the book “Picasso / Picault” by Sylvie Vautier, ed. Pointed Leaf Press.

Excellent original condition, no chips or cracks, some firing defects due to wood-firing.
